Plurk my new journal

June 28th, 2009

Recently, I signed up for a Plurk account. I have been seeing some of my facebook friends who are into “plurkin” these days so I gave it a shot too. Plurk is an online social journal that allows you to update your friends with your likes, wants, wishes and that.  I have uploaded my photo and added some description about myself. Beside the photo is the karma stats. Every plurker has his/her own karma value. High karma enables you to avail more emoticons such as hug and kiss. You can get more karma points by updating your profile and by plurking everyday.  But your karma value can lower down if get inactive for few days.

World Health Organization announces Swine Flu Pandemic

June 12th, 2009

World Health Organization announces Swine Flu Pandemic on Thursday.  WHO officials emphasize that the declaration doesn’t mean that the A(H1N1) has become fatal. The reason why they have decided to announce the swine flu pandemic is because it continues to spread and it’s already affecting 74 countries in the world.  There are almost 29,000 cases of A(H1N1) since it was first identified in Mexico two months ago. Most swine flu cases are mild but it doesn’t mean that you should stop from being vigilant.

Personalized Jewelry

June 12th, 2009

My little sister’s birthday is fast approaching. She will be turning 17 this coming July. She’s planning to celebrate her special day with college friends in a hotel or resort. As early as now, I am preparing for her upcoming birthday like (looking for cheap hotels and private resorts, party themes and gift ideas). I have already a nice gift idea in mind and that is Personalized Jewelry. Gail loves to accessorize and since she doesn’t have a personalized jewelry yet, the classic monogrammed heart charm necklace is perfect for her. I have got the idea from a website named Monogrammed-Gift. Monogrammed Gift offers personalized jewelry that make a thoughtful gift to your family and friends on any occasion. Select from their stunning collection of new personalized accessories, personalized earrings, monogrammed necklaces, personalized pendants and bracelets. They even have other gift ideas that will definitely make your family, friends and even pets happy. If you want to order, just click the drop down menu option to select the style you want. Your orders will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail and a shipping fee of $6 will be charged to every order. If you have any problems with your order, just return the item within thirty days.
